Bus Tickets

got up this morning and i decided we where going to Manchester.....on't bus...

on Transdev buses you can get what is called a 'day gold' ticket for £6.50 (£3.25 for kids) this ticket lets you go wherever you want to basically....on ANY transdev bus(up north anyway)...we went to Manchester, Burnley, Accy and all over Blackburn with it today, the ticket is definately worth its money, for a return to Manchester alone it would cost me £6.50 on the bus

they also sell them for families...£13 for 2 adults and 2 kids or the same price for one adult and 3 kids

BARGAIN

here are the boundaries of the ticket

1-Day Gold and 7-Day Gold

Re: Bus Tickets

aye but you missed out one important bit....

I've been on a 'bus' twice in the last 6 months

1st experience, rochdale to home - ~ 1 hour(~10 miles). In that journey I had bloke who smelled like an advert for BO. he was replaced by the two drunks who were happily discussing collecting their methadone and what booze they had in their bags and when they got off I got 5 mins space before being mobbed and surrounded by about 30 13/14 year old girls happily discussing their sex lives(or who they'd like to be having and how)

2nd time, carrying luggage amounting to a laptop bag.crushed up with teh bag on my knee, a 5 mile journey took 1 hour 20, including teh old pi$$ head having a go at 2 young Muslim girls becasue they chose to wear head scarves "You lot are F&*ing murderers, you should be exported, P*kis like you should be all locked up" etc. I would have stepped in if it hadn't been for teh p1$$ed up old lady giving him 10x what I'd have given him!

no, I'll more than happily put whatever amount of go-go juice my 4.2 litre V8 demands just to not experience that again

Re: Bus Tickets

My daughter gets these tickets often, esp when she wants to go to her mates or the pictures in accy or Manchester etc.

Are they accepted on any other companies buses (any reciprocal arrangements ?)
