cooler

I've had a big fan in the living room for quite a while now, but the other week my community matron recommended these coolers which she reckoned are better than a fan so I got one for my birthday, its brill, you can run it as it is or fill it with water to make it cooler and there is even a compartment for for ice with you want it really cool, can recommend, I think I can remember MargaretR mentioning something similar a while ago

Re: cooler

You could have got the same effect by placing a dish of icecubes in front of your fan

Mine is not a cooler, it is an air conditioner which works like a 'fridge in reverse'.
I have a duct pipe (like a tumble dryer pipe) to put the heat outside.
It is multipurpose - it also has dehumidifying and heater settings.

The only problem with the fan Margaret is it keeps blowing my wig off

Re: cooler

I agree - lack of heat or too much heat can damage your health.
I don't skimp on the costs of either.
