delivery service

i have just had to send a pair of boots back to Trespass in Glasgow it cost me £10.30 royal mail standard

i recentley bought something off ebay and it was delivered using My Hermes delivery courier, i checked out their site
and they will pick up (or you can drop of at a shop in accrington, and it makes it a little cheaper)
i have just sold some items on ebay
they are more than reasonably priced

i am sending 6 items mainland uk, 3 of which weigh in at their 2-5kg category and total postage just less than £20

plus it will import all the details fro ebay for you just sign in and pay and print

wil let you all know what the service is like,

thought it may be handy for anyone sending christmas presents, who struggle to get out to the post office
you can even arrange to leave your goods "in a safe place" so ideal if out at work too

hope someone finds this useful

Re: delivery service

Thank you for that info. I have bookmarked their site.

Parcel Delivery Service | Parcel Delivery Made Easy | myHermes

I am unable to visit Post Office and can now have a 'clear out' by selling instead of giving.

Re: delivery service

i actually missed my delivery from them, the guy who delivers around here, and im guessing picks up is only in Ossy, so i picked up from his house, easier than having to get the times right to pick up from accy gpo

Re: delivery service

The delivery office in Nelson, is open till half five all week apart from Saturday, accy one is useless and when you send parcels by Royal Mail they always get lost even if you have them recorded!!

I've never yet had a parcel lost by Royal Mail, delivered late yes, could it be that you address your parcels in a similarly obscure manner to that which you use to post on site?

I have had one or two go missing in CD trades(live bootlegs) but whos to say they never screwed me...

However I have never had anything go missing that was tracked or special delivery. Also they are insured so if sending something expensive... send special delivery
