Interesting suggestions that got the job done & didnt take long was using the wall paper steamer ..........great tip if anyone needs it for this job, got nice plush carpet down now so hard work wasn't too much in vain LOL!!
Thank you least now know to ask for tips before hand
Pulled up carpet ready for a new one being put down .... but i've now been left with foam from the back of old carpet still on floor & now been painfully trying to get it off the darn floor atm with a scraper regretfully
Is there an easier way??????????
If, when you laid the carpet, you had put newspaper underneath you wouldn’t have had that problem.
Better still, if you have enough of them, use plastic carrier bags opened up under a foam backed carpet. Or bin bags.
