Have a look at these ones. I had a play with them a few weeks ago in my hairdressers, they were good and the vibrating bit prevents snagging of the hair which you sometimes get even with GHD's tho I do like my GHD's I may be tempted with these if they needed replacing.

Re: GHD Hair Straighteners

I dont rate GHD's, I think they are over hyped

I have super thick curly hair and the best straighteners I have used are by Corioliss

You can get them from Sallys, round about £80, they have different colours and patterns, I have skull and crossbones, my friend has red leopard print

Way way better than GHD's, if you go into sally, they let you try all the different straighteners

If you do go for GHDs then visit their website first
I bought mine ( over 5 years ago stil goping strong) then I thought oo I'll have a nosey at the site - and lo and behold you could send your old straighteners (any kind/make) and recieve a "20 voucher off a pair of ghds - too flippin late when you have already bought them.

Be very careful if you ever buy any 2nd hand one, there was a very bad reputation for these catching fire a few years back.

My wife wouldn't be without hers... me, she can do without

Vibe Hair Straighteners, Hair Tools Vibrating Hair Straightener, Salon Styler UK
Paul saw these the other day, apparently that Adee of "The Salon" fame swears by them.

He said he would buy me these but not GHD's!

That hairdressers in town are doing the same deal, you know where you just walk in next to Gregs. Me and my daughter went the other day and I was quizzing her about them and she said they have that deal on.

I WILL get some. He knows I won't shut up until he buys me some. I was like that about my car and I'm getting that now

Re: GHD Hair Straighteners

Forget ghd, this is the next BIG THING. Cloud Nine straighteners. You can do everything with it, and best of all, it has a temperature control so it can be red hot or you can turn it down if you have finer hair or want it look a bit more natural or do curls. I read about it on twitter and I can't wait to get my hands on one

I had my hair straightened with them at the barbers shop and they did no better a job than my Nicky Clark ones. Could have saved my-self four quid.
