Yes you do tend to see a different vet each time but we get a different doctor each time at Peel House so not unusual to us.

Oh Tinks it must have been so awful. I get so attached to pets and hate to see them suffer. They really are just like a member of the family. Hopefully he didn't suffer too much.
I understand that now as I did my research after the event. Just one of them things really.

I kind of believe everything happens for a reason. some we just cannot see, I was nearly put of owning dogs again after my loss but now have 2 beauties.

Back to the topic, I find I will avoid the vets as much as possible now, and usually search the internet and dog forums to see if I can help myself rather than got to the vets.

As a trip to the vets usually = ££££££££

Although as I have insurance, there would be no hesitation should an emergency arrise as cost would not be an issue.

When I had to have my dog put to sleep I used Myrescough, brilliant with animals, not as good with people, I got asked how I was going to pay before the dog had even taken her last breath.

Sorry about your dog Tinkerbelle, it's awful when you lose a family pet especially after having him all those years.

We use Mearleys, though we've only ever had them look at the odd rabbit and the mental guinea pig.
