Re: growing your own veggies

last time i tried to cut my grass i blew the mower up.. it was electric and all this smoke started to come out of it so i ran (like they do in action films just before the bomb goes off) to unplug it..... it went pop and LOADS of smoke came out of it....... the guy next door just stood there watching then said...... 'i dont think its supposed to do that'
erm....DUH!

SO.... no offers to lend me a mower then

Seriously tho, I didn't think wind would kill Pansies, can't imagine it turning the leaves on yer spuds brown either.

Give 'em some water , see if they perk up

Re: growing your own veggies

I finished all my planting today, hope they all survive with this wind. We are having a go at growing a pumpkin and a sweet pepper plant for Siobhan, she loves watching things grow.

You will have to keep us posted as to how you go on. The pumkin growing seems a bit fiddly, just googled it
