Re: Household
Use plastic pegs to seal bread, tea cakes, frozen food etc.
Flat coke very good for fetching a sparkle to your Loo and sink.
Got a spot then in an emergency dab on a spot of toothpaste and let it dry. Works a treat.

Re: Household
Use cheap lemonade in a vase instead of water flowers last longer.
Warm water with sugar works well but remember to cut the stems a little each day and top up.

Re: Household
Believe it or not, babywipes are excellent for cleaning patent leather shoes and handbags. Discovered this by accident. They are terrible for cleaning babies bottoms.

Good for cleaning paint work. Infact they have a multitude of uses round the home.

Re: Household
Have you tried a solution of warm water and vinigar applied with scrunched up newspaper or a soft cloth and then dry with newspaper.
Leaves them smear free in theory at least. I to am useless at cleaning windows.

Re: Household
Old vynle records make brilliant plant pot holders.
80s records seem to melt better. lol
They make unusual potholders and keep your window sill clean.
