Exclamation last minute supermarket shopping

was down at tesco at 8 am this morning (on mi bike) and it was packed...
if you havent bought your christmas groceries yet, i'd hurry up before you can't move in the aisles at all

Was in and out by 7. Our M&S opened at 6 and was grave-like in its tranquility.:-)

Tesco is open on Boxing Day so whats all the panic...............? we are going to the mother in laws and i have just dropped our contribution of food and drink round and i`ve honestly never seen as much stuff for one day, its ridiculous.................

Agree with Pip on this why do we need to buy like there is no tomorrow when shops are open again in a couple of days?

asda last night... no crimbo puddings, no mince pies... no carrots... this is 10pm tuesday.. still none of the above this morning..

strange a place like asda would run out of crimbo stock in crimbo week

Slight aside from the supermarkets. The one day of the year you would think most shops would open a bit earlier would be Christmas Eve. Not in Accrington !!. Was outside WH Smith at 8.50 with about 10 others. All the staff were at the tills and milling around the other side of the door, keys in hand. Did they open before 9am ? No way
