Re: Mirtazapine tablets

I have never taken any sort of anti depressants, so I can't really comment but if it was me I would have done just as you have and contacted my doctor again.

I do hope your feeling better soon.

Something at the back of my mind says that trying to keep active gets them out of your system quicker.

It would if she can. They are very powerful, and usually send me to sleep within 30 minutes of taking them. They do leave you feeling very groggy for a while after.

One thing you can't do is drink alcohol whilst taking them, you literally go off your head. I've learnt my lesson now, and stop taking them two days before I'm going out.

They are needed to relax my muscles and joints after the accident. I can take them at 10pm and still be wide awake at 1am. , have tried taking them earlier but still dont send me drowsy.

Re: Mirtazapine tablets

Mirtazapine are for major depression and aren't generally used first line, 15mg is the correct starting dose usually increased to 30mg within 2-4 weeks, doesn't sound like they're right for you though Shaz. Dr has quite a few others he could choose but the two starting with flu are Fluoxetine (Prozac) and Fluvoxamine (Faverin) that are in the same class has Citalopram. PM me Shaz if you need any info.
