Nagging Dad

My dad is the person who if you ever did anything rong in your life he always throws it back in your face.

over twenty years ago i borrowed a jigsaw off him to cut some wood and lost a screw from it, but it still keeps comming in to conversasion.

The first car i bought, i should never have bought it because it wasn't british.

We bought a goerge forman grill, what do you whant one of them for you only ever use the once and then always end up away.

when i was 14 he cought me wackin it from school for a day, thats when i ruined my career.

now we have a dog my dad's not happy he says you should never have dogs when you have kids so.......

Re: Nagging Dad

I've already got some of my own thanks - I've got a Rosemary Conley grill. It's the female version of the George Foreman and I use it almost daily. (or Busman does)

What's a British car?

Did you never buy your Dad a replacement screw? Shame on you!

How can you ruin a career as a DJ by bunking off school?

I've no problem with non-stick coming off mine either - like you, clean it when it's warm and no trouble at all.

I would love a TVR Griffith but can't afford one. Have had Peugeots for ages because they are reliable, well-built, and run well.

I don't have a Dad to nag me, but I do have a cousin in Cheltenham who does a pretty good job. I don't think she's ever got round to realising that I am more than 6, and have made a pretty fair stab at running my life!

Re: Nagging Dad

I really don't like Land Rovers - they look like those old cash boxes on wheels.

And as for Vauxhall - when I was cabbying I had an Astra, and it was one of the most uncomfortable vehicles I have ever driven. It felt like someone had their knees in my back, and to have that for a 6 hour shift is not fun at all. I was absolutely knackered after each shift.

I was glad when the chap finally changed his car - much more comfortable, only the problem with that one was that it was an automatic

Re: Nagging Dad

There is quite a thriving Kit Car industry in this country. OK, they take donor components but most things now are multinational. Take people like DAX, http://www.daxcars.co.uk/start.htm

Lovely things,
