Thank you Mallard!!! I have had many hot bath's in 3 weeks but I agree with the pain killer bit!! At the moment I'm doped up on solpadol disolvables, which is the only thing that take the pain away but they weren't prescribed for my ankle, I got them about 6 months ago!!

sounds like you have torn or stretched a ligament,i had a stretched ligament when i was pregnant with my 2nd and i was only 4 month gone all down one side of my belly and i had to suffer in pain till i had him, then it slowly went, some days it wasnt too bad but in bed and turning around was so painful,i would rest as much as you can and let it heel itself,
Slinky, have you tried anything like olbas oil. I find it be excellent for my arthritis. If you rub some onto your ankle after a warm bath it's even better. It's very good for muscle pain as well. You could also try a T.E.N.S. machine. I think they have gone down to about £30 now and available in lots of stores.
Due to my intense dislike of pharmacutical pain killers I have been 'putting up with' pain in my lower back for several weeks.
I had given up hope of ever finding an effective herbal pain killer until today
Eureka! - I have found SOOTHANOL X2 -effective on joint and muscle pain North Star Nutritionals - Soothanol X2 - The Nutri Centre
it really works - I am amazed
ps I have read that horse trainers use it on racehorse injuries

Neigh Margaret, we'll have to watch out you'll be jumping the fences round the playing fields next
Jaysay's into sadism, necrophilia and bestiality. Do you reckon he's flogging a dead horse?

That 'magic horse linament' I found about a week ago is very expensive at £30 for a tiny bottle, so I have been exploring its ingredient list and think I have found out which ingredient is the 'magic pain killer' D M S O - Google Search
I have ordered some and will report back with results when I have tried it.
