Phone Scam
It may well have been raised before but I have just had a phone call which was obviously an attempted scam - trying to get me to press 9.
Message said something like as I was between 50 & 60 years of age I was entitled to a payment of £1000. To claim this I had to press 5 or if I didn't then press 9. Pressing 9 would apparently have then resulted in me being charged £50. The number to watch out for is 01619610056 I have reported it to the Police, if anyone else receives a similar call - hang up and then report it to the Police on 101
