Emma you can usually, in most email programs, just drag the document you want to attach into your message and it attach's it for you.

Oh yeh, just done it, wondered what that edit thingy was Thought once posted you were stuck with it. Well, suppose have to be grateful.

Only mods and admin can edit other than you. On our forum we can delete our posts too but don't think you can here.
