Re: Soapnuts
Will have to take a gander at these. They sound ideal and a long term saver in more than the pocket or purse.

Re: Soapnuts
I remember years ago getting something from a woman who had an animal shelter in Co. Durham. She was a self-styled witch and sold all sorts of weird and wonderful things. One thing she had was a natural herb 'soap' which lathered when wet. You could make a shampoo out of it by soaking it in water.

We have lost a lot if not most of the knowledge of how things were done before the chemical era we are in now. Ok we dont have to slap the cloths around on the river bank to get them clean.

Re: Soapnuts
I've been googling them and they sound quite interesting. I might have a try of them. One page I looked at said you can use the same ones several times.

Ps Simply Soap nuts is based in Taunton Somerset - so I suspect that this really is spam (unfortunately)

Margaret R, interesting though how he has been able to connect you to this site , I don't believe in coincidences like this (presumably you bought your soapnuts on-line) , doubt very much that you would have mentioned the 'Accy-web' when placing your order.
Maybe the more technologically advanced members can tell us if such a tracking system is possible without 'hacking' into someones e-mail
thanks

It spooked me too - he had my name and address in order to post them to me - maybe he just googled 'soapnuts Accrington', and found Accy Web
It is a shame he resorted to spamming - the product is good enough not to get 'stained' by tactics like that.

Re: Soapnuts
Gosh - just logged in to see how the thread was going - I'm amazed!
I chose gingerwilliam as a screen name because my young son is a carrot top and - you've guessed it - he's called William.
I can see how your suspicions would have been aroused, but I live in Aberdeen and I've never shopped on Ebay in my life - let alone sold anything on it!
This is a great web site and I stumbled on it by chance. I intend to keep popping in - it's just so full of good stuff. I also believe in keeping forums "clean" and if the administrators would prefer to delete my previous threads - that's fine.
