I don't think they have to attend RC church.....just as long as they attend church.
For instance Mount Carmel is RC, but many Muslims attend that school. This is permitted because they attend the mosque on a regular basis.
I think that religious instruction in even church schools is far broader than it used to be and the bias towards one brand or another has pretty much been eliminated.

The intake rules for junior church schools are not as stringent as for the senior ones. As for the catchment area for such as St Christophers, they take so many from out lying areas eg, Burnley as there is not a C of E secondary school in the town.

The point I'm making is - go see the head of the school, the person with the most influence that may well be able to get your kids in - IMO it's worth a shot.

Or just don't bother and leave it upto someone who is probably not even in the school to decide.

St Christopher's decide if they will offer a place to a child

You had to have the application filled in and submitted by 31st October. If you don't apply in time you go to the bottom of the list
