Re: Teachers

I've taught various age groups in Sunday School from 18 months to 12 years. The older ones were the most difficult. I wouldn't like to try teaching in a main stream school these days. It's getting them to sit still and behave that seems to be the hardest part.

Re: Teachers

Accept the fact that 80% of the pupils will not tell you if they are stuck ( don't want to look stupid by asking / asking shows willingness to learn... a big no-no ) You have to go and make sure they understand what they are doing, make them talk you through what they have to do step by step whenever possible, and try not to let a certain few people always give the answers.

Re: Teachers

My daughter trained as a teacher and can't get a job - schools just don't like taking on "new" teachers, so make sure jobs re available before you start your training
