Re: Tickley Cough

I had a bad chest a few week ago and used Beechams Veno's Expectorant. That was for chesty coughs though, but i noticed when buying it they did one for tickley coughs as well. Tastes awful but it really worked!

A Canadian University did studies on coughs and the effectivness of cough medicine....they found that the best remedy for a tickly cough was to put a thick coating of Vicks Vapour Rub on the soles of the feet, and then put a pair of socks on to keep it in place.......this was found to stop tickly coughs better than any cough mixture or medicine.
This really works.........I am not sure of how, but it does.
Hope this helps someone out there.

Mi oud Grannie used to mix Rum Butter and Treacle together in a cup, a teaspoon at bed time seemed to stop the coughing
