Question Top Tips

Well I have started this thread so that we can all share our top tips with each other.
Things that work really well that no-one would really think of doing.
Have you got a tip that would help someone out in a dilemma??? Then just post on here.
I will start it off............................

When making a cake, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon to give it extra zing.

Keep a blob of blue - tack on the dash board of you car to hold car park tickets in place.

Lemon - scented dust bin bags solve the problem of animals ripping bin bags open during the night.

For tasty shepherds pie, fry leeks and layer between the mash and mince, it helps toward your five a day fruit and veg intake.

A damp sock over your hand is a great way to clean cupboards, without dust flying everywhere.

So there we go i have started some off, get some of your idea's on here now...........

Wouldn't the milk that soaked unto the carpet end up smelly?

I've never had blood on a carpet so never needed to try this but it would be good for blood on something which can have the milk washed out afterwards in a washing machine wouldn't it?
