Which college should we go to?
We'd like some advice about which college my daughter should go to.
Its either St Mary's or Blackburn college. She's doing child development & is hoping to go on to teaching. Were looking for genuine advice from people who may have had experience of the colleges/courses or who may know someone who has. Thankyou in advance, your opinions are greatly appreciated. |

i'd personally go to each one and see which your daughter prefers, after all it is her that has to go there

St Mary's over Blackburn every time, (Clitheroe Royal 6th form, and Bacup & Rawtenstall are also excellent)
When my daughter applied to college she went to look around Accy/Ross, Blackburn & St Mary's. St Mary's required 3 Grade 'B's, both Blackburn and Accy said 'don't worry about your grades, we will find you a place doing something!!! Guess which one she chose?!

I went to St.Mary's and I don't think it is a coincidence that the people I know at the good universities are all people I met at St.Mary's whilst my friends who went to Blackburn didn't get much further.
