I know a bloke who uses a wheelie bin to make home brew beer in...it's not bad either - a nice bitter ale, 4.2 OG, nice nougaty flavour....a little bit like Thwaites Lancaster Bomber but works out about 3p a pint...

You're not supposed to put your lid out with your box on collection day.
You can also get an extra blue box and lid if you want, by the way.

Post Re: Serious wheelie bin comments!

No. I didn't anyway.

Sent an email the other day about the way the recycling team are doing their job.

The way they throw the boxes around they are soon going to get damaged, and I have also had to ask them to return one of my boxes from another property.

Have raised numerous issues about the refuse system over the last few weeks, which are being brought up at appropriate meetings.

Will let you know when I get any feedback.
