the tea rooms was the farthest one away from the road, sat in it many a sunny afternoon, I used to help dick hindle at gaulkthorn, the proctor brothers worked for dick at the time, George, and david proctor, we always mucked together at hay time as dick hindle had the baler, david proctor, (r,i,p,) used to contract bale for the area,

Scattered my brothers ashes here last year. We grew up in broadfield and spent the long summer holidays running wild around Cock o Lumb. Happy happy days.
