A fine excuse.
Everyone knows you're just itching to go in, and have a shufty.

Re: do you remember.....?
I don't need to go in,Rindy....I've been in about 30 or 40 of the damm places. They're all the same, barring a few piccys of what are the local celebs on the wall. Characterless and sterile, drinking in one of these holes is like drinking in a morgue. But if that's what you like, then good luck.

Personally not somewhere I'd choose to drink in either.
There was one in Tooting.
The only boozer we never went in.
Come to think of it, I think they might have done a bit of undertaking in there as a side-line.
The Accy one?
I'm just pleased, with so many pubs closing down, someone's using this town centre building, and spent money on it.

No doubt as usual you didn't do as you were told, I bet you told your mum you were going to a youth club.

Also I remember Music Zone being in Accy Town Centre, as well as "The Good Warehouse" being in Accy Town Centre.

Re: do you remember.....?
Does anyone remember my Grandad and Nanna's Confectioner's/Bakers on Haywood Road (near Accy Vic. Hospital) - half-way down on a corner on the right? They closed down in the 1980's when they retired and the shop became a house -they were well-known for their Pie and Peas. They made all kinds of bread but i especially remember the cream cakes....didn't get to eat too many though!
