I remember it - It had a large window frontage where you could see people on high stools facing out, eating off a window shelf - many looked a little like itinerants - so I never went in.

ya could say that,though the No1 stall was my main haunt, nevertheless have a great "Copper Kettle" story which i will tell you when our paths cross. about someone my late mate iantow knew about.

A member of my family (who lives down the road from me now) worked at Woolworths when it was there.....forever telling me things from the years she worked there.
And apparently she went to the first MacDonalds in London with her children when it opened and had fish(!) which she says was horrible.

yep great jukebox, great milkshakes, across from the Ribble Bus Station. came out of their n "pinched" a whalley bus once. but the driver didnt know till he got to whalley. just kept ringing the bell to stop/go the old dears thought it was a hoot.

i used to go in onmy way to school if it was cold, i only saw the market traders in there
