does enyone remember

there was a small shop on the corner of argyle st and malt st in ccy,

the owner mr everett did his rounds in a open sided van selling fruit, vedg, ect.
all around the milnshaw aera and beond, there was a fish merchant that did the same.

wy cant some one do it now for the old folk

Yes run by Larry Everitt and his wife Sue. I used to take my mums shopping list down to him and he would deliver the groceries in a cardboard box the same day. A forerunner of Tesco online.

i think his dad erni ran it first,
larry whent onto run the sunbed shop on the corner of knowlmere st and whalley road,
that was once a chemist.

When we lived on Ramsbottom Street we used to get deliveries from that Everitt's shop on the corner of Knowlmere St and Whalley Rd.

I remember going there to get shopping for a bloke that lived on Argyle Street

He also had a shop in Ossy for a time, what used to be the Gas Showrooms at the bottom of Rhydings Street, he also turned that into a sunbed shop at one time as well

Ernie Everett used to have a wagon that sold Fruit n Veg around accringtons streets before he had that shop, me mam used to get spuds n stuff off him.
