I only worked there one summer then moved to Asda. Tony was balding he had the monks cut, bald dome with the circle of hair round it as far as I recall. What's he doing now?

I lost track of him years ago so I have no idea.
He did take over a main car dealer on the road into Manchester higher up than Strangeways, on the left after the Rialto traffic lights.

In the 60s, students usually worked for the Post Office delivering mail at Christmas and went to Joseph Arnold's (now Express Gifts) in the summer packing cards.
