First World War Truce

In December 1914 there was an unofficial Christmas truce between the British and German troops. This website
The Christmas Truce
is collating all accounts either by newspaper reports, official documents and soldiers letters and diaries. It`s a fascinating read.

Re: First World War Truce

I've already sent some articles from the Accrington and Blackburn newspapers, about the Cristmas Truce, can't remember if its the same lot.

I also sent some of the local soldiers WWI poetry, to some one who was writing a book, can't remember who they are either. Memories going.

Worry not. It happens to all of us eventually.

At least you are aware that you have minor memory lapses. The real problem starts when you can’t remember if you’ve had a memory lapse.

Have some Karma to compensate for your memory lapses.
