Re: School items

I have stopped travelling on the buses when I know that school children are likely to be on them.
I was coming back from Southport recently and a group of children(no more that 12/13) were on the bus......two boys behind me were discussing in graphic detail about what they would like to do to a young blonde schoolgirl sitting across the aisle......this was not whispered and was clearly audible throughout the bus......there was an asian boy with a lisp who kept shouting out the word 'man-gina'.
In the end I spoke to the boys who were behind me and also the asian boy......I asked them if their parent knew how they behaved on public transport....and if they knew that they were speaking in such lewd and offensive manner.
The young asian boy...I asked him if his imam would value hearing how he spoke...and whether he would consider it to be evidence of a good Muslim upbringing.(it was during Ramadan too)
It all went a bit quiet after that.
To some degree, we are to blame because we do not challenge this behaviour.
So the children come to believe it is acceptable.
Himself cringes when I speak up...but I feel that if more people would do this then there would be a little more respect.

Also, I have to say that the girls are, if anything, worse than the boys.

Nobody i reckon thinks its ok, I stated that yeh always get some who go too far in all aspect of life, but thats a different thing altogether dealing wi those. So as far as i'm concerned unless yer totally thick, which i doubt yeh are, yer just stirring the pot.
