Only shops I remember are record shops, Mr C...apart from that, just coffee bars and pubs!

Of course, Margaret, how could I forget about the Elite?? Problem is, when I first started frequenting these places, my mum thought I was up in the reference library diligently doing my homework!

was no snooker hall up spring hill, though the club had a decent table once of a day.

My secret is out

Cashy I remember the Pickups had many a pint in there. If I remember correctly the landlord was a bald headed guy called Brian Fielding when I started going in there. I was there the night of the Heysel disaster.

dont know bagpuss was a regular late 60s early 70s,after that only when i was up that way, which was not very often. Bill n Teresa were the hosts in cashys days.
