Sorry to hear that. Whiled away many an hour shooting the breeze with him on the Deck back in the day. Get well soon, Isaac!

Re: The Deck

[quote=West Ender;256519]I've just read through this thread which I had somehow missed. Going back to nearly the beginning - someone mentioned Ollie Rowley. Would this be Oliver Rowley who had a brother called John and a sister Angela? Would he now be in his 60s? If so, he went to St Marys school when I did and - well, it was a shame, poor lad! If it's the right one, he would have been in a special school today.

Do you know much about Oliver Rowley or inparticular Angela? I am a long lost relative of Angela and would quite like to get back in touch. I she still living in Ostletwissel?

Vito had been on the "pop" for awhile prior to getting to the club, we bumped into him in the Arden...he'd had a few by then. He was telling me about one day when he called into the Calder for a Cappuccino, me & Les nearly dropped our pints at the thought of Vito going into a pub & ordering a coffee!!

Best Regards - Taggy
