I remember many blurred nights in the Blockade on Newcastle Brown and in the back room they used to smoke the old oxo cubes! I think it was round the time of "Whiskey in the Jar" or a few years later. That song was always on the juke box.

No, he's definitely alive and kicking. The man in question once claimed to have nearly penetrated the inner circle of the Tory party at their annual conference in Blackpool by flashing his bus ticket as ID.

Speaking of the jukebox, Stevie Nicks' Leather andLace always seemed to get a lot of plays when I was trying to win pints on the Yahtzee machine.
