Can't remember if anybody has mentioned the Virginian from 1962 featured James Drury, Doug McClure nd Lee J. Cobb
"The Virginian" (1962)
was great in its day too

The Virginian, Trampas and Judge Garth were believable characters with their weekly adventures holding millions enthralled. Great stuff.

I used to watch Michael bentine's pottytime . I think this is the programme with the fleas having a war ?

Which must be a prompt for The Goon Show. I recall one episode broadcast in black and white which advertised that the closing scenes would be shown in colour. Cue Spike Milligan in an outfit sporting tags labelling various items of dress like 'yellow tie'; 'pink shirt'; blue trousers' and so on. Daft as brushes, the lot of em.
