There was no TV when I was a nipper, however my family used to listen to "Itma" on the radio. I myself ried to play "Dustmans Knock" (similar to Postmans Knocl - but dirtier) with the local females = ah those were the days

Then Hugh O'Brien in the long running 'Wyatt Earp' series.
I just loved the TV Westerns. Far superior to the sci-fi rubbish that kids are into today. But then again, that's just my opinion. It's probably more in tune with what's prevalent at the time.

Johnny Morris was in Zoo Time.
Rocket Robin Hood , cartoon
5 o` clock Club.
The Dakota`s , a western ,only on a few weeks.
My Mother the Car.
Arthur Haynes. The one with Nickolas Parsons is superb , a must to watch.
Naked City.
Outer Limits.
William Hartnell , original Dr. Who and the Sgt. in the Army Game
No Hiding Place, ......... Francis
Avengers.
Thats all for now. These I remember at the mo.

Anyone remember Dr Finley's case book, Bill Simpson played Finley his side kick was Dr Cameron played by Andrew Cruickshank and the house Keeper was Janet played by Barbara Mullen and they all lived happily in Tannochbrae back in black and white in the 60s

what would have been the first "soap opera" type program ? I'm thinking 'Emergency Ward 10' , think it pre-dated Coronation st. but could be wrong

I remember it SJ there was an Aussie in it called Charles something or other played a doctor, might have been Tingwell, but not sure

Anybody remember this series from the 50s, think it was set in the Andes, was back of the couch stuff in those days for a 10 year old
