Accy?

Kes was set in Yorkshire.

Worse, in Barnsley.

Still I know all you soft southerners think everything above Marylebone High Street is just one mass, called 'The North'.

Personally I never saw television as a child.

I much preferred to watch real people suffer.

Roy Rogers was a film star back in the 40' and 50s, with his horse Trigger, (which I think is stuffed in a case somewhere) and his partner Dale Harden, they were regular appears at kids matinees along with Hop along Cassidy and the Lone Ranger and Tonto and Sci fi Flash Gordon

Stuffed AND mounted - they're like that in Nebraska...

Roy Rogers' stuffed horse Trigger sold at auction - USATODAY.com

I love the fact that his costumes were designed by someone called Nudie!

BTW his sidekick was Dale Evans not Harden.
