The site in Electricity St, is now occupied by Denhams Electrical Suppliers.
What was the one in Abbey St called, 1/2 way between Black Abbey St, and Oak St.

I remember during the War the Baths were closed to the Public. They drained the Pool and put wooden boards across the Pool. The Army used the space for storing things but what they stored I cant remember.I never did learn to swim for years after because they closed the Baths

how long ago is that since beechy, used to live on Nelson Street in the mid 70s but can't remember a toffee makers
