Used to get my Sweets from there on the way to/from School. His name was Taylor and his missus used to work there too!

I remember them well, used to garage their wagon right next to St Marys School on Moscow Mill Street, near to Bill Dashes house, It used to stink to high heaven in the Summer

Flynn's Fishmongers was owned by my life-long friend's father, Bill Wilcock. His son Tom, who worked with him, died just a couple of months ago aged 76.

Who Remembers when we had "Proper" Winters with heavy snow every year,n never once a school was closed.

Well if Beechy don't remember them cashy I do, can remember when it snowed there was always a drift right outside our front door usually about 3 foot deep, one year it was 6 foot, we used to have a whale of a time in those days

Remember Tom very well West Ender, used to pop in Ossy Con for a couple of halves of Mild on a regular basis, used to chat with him most times he was in, was sad to hear of his death
