Thumbs down Re: Years Gone By

remember moving to accy on a nice little sreet.then some scummy landlord left a house empty for years leaving it to bring the street down in fact its still empty now, then the local school putting a 11 grey fence up making it feel you were in a prison at the same time chopping down a picturesque tree at the end of the street.then the scummy landlords buying up everything an moving in druggie scum and noisy polish nieghbours.so when i complained to let the house[buy the house] they said the owner was polish and was abroad and there was nothing they could do.complained to the council was still waiting for a reply before i moved up here.phoned police would prob still be waiting so accy has been let down by those in charge the local council is a disgrace tory or labour[they are in a old pals act]the local bail hostel letting paedophiles etc running amock etc .if accy was still the same when i first moved there i would still be there..

Just another sign of ageing, just had my hair cut, well shaved, and I've been gleefully informed by my other half that my hair is turning grey at a great rate of knot's, I could soon be after the title silver fox, oh but wait a minute there's some one already well in advance with that one okay Dave

It was Gordon Addison senior who had the offlicence, before that i think he ran the butchers shop for the co_op

John went on to become Headmaster at, i think, Haslingden Grammar School, but unfortunately had some heart probs and had to retire early, he's doing fine at the moment though.
