Adobe Reader

I am having problems reading pdf files using Adobe Reader version 7. The program does not respond and then generates an error report. I have tried to remove this program using Add / Remove programs but even this will not allow me to remove it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Adobe Reader

Thanks but I have tried that and it won't install because it can't remove the previous version.

Re: Adobe Reader

Rename the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0 and try again, if it works delete the folder you renamed

Re: Adobe Reader

If that fails try this ;

Manually remove Adobe Reader (7.x on Windows)

Re: Adobe Reader

Seems a bit long winded but I'll give it a go when I have more time. Will let you know how I get on, cheers.
