I had a do at recalibrating there K.S.H. but I think I'm on a non-starter anyway because a lot relies on what I think I can see which isn't necessarily accurate and then when I did a test run it looked worse than before so I've gone back to how I was despite the last two darkest blacks seeming to merge together.

Did you use the Adobe gamma or try the program in the 2nd link?

Changed my background when the cube's in action, didn't like the sea/rocks one

I think it's my eyes. Sometimes I can see differences and sometimes I can't.
