Re: dirty ads
nope it aint showing topless women - its asking me if i want to do an ovulation chart! The way it looks like that its on the website itself and you cant do anything about that except not use it.

Re: dirty ads
No I don't get anything, but I have a Pop-Up Blocker, so I wouldn't. Although I do get told when its blocked one, and that message hasn't come up so, i'm presuming none have come up.

Re: dirty ads
There is a way to stop it. it depends on what browser you use as to the method though.
Firefox has an ad blocker, right click over teh image and select block images from .... option
Not sure about IE as I don't use it however there is another option involving the hosts file that works no matter what browser you use.
If you rightclick the image and select copy link location.
Paste it into notepad and note what the domain is (i.e. http://WWW.ACCRINGTONWEB.COM/forum its teh bit in capitals)
go into c:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc and open the file called "hosts" in notepad. it will look like this
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost
On the line that says localhost, add a space at the end and then type the domain that you got from the image, save the file and exit

Re: dirty ads
Hi, Panther, you could try changing browsers. I use Mozilla Firefox, and have no problems with pop-ups. You can download it from http://mozilla.com/en-US/ its a freebie.
I have been using it for about 4 months, and its great, beats hell out of Internet Explorer. Click on Download Firefox Free, follow the instructions. I would not go back to IE now. Hope this helps, regards, Nigel.

You might want to give it a try anyway, firefox is faster, more secure and has various great add-ons if you wish to customise it.

Re: dirty ads
Don't forget there are other options as well. you need to try a few and see which ones suits how your brain is wired. Opera is my main browser and I use a lightweight one called Dillo from time to time
