Question FS Broadband Question

I have been on freeserve broadband for a few months now and just wondered if anyone else was?
The reason I ask is because that when I sometimes swithc on my computer, the actual modem sometimes can take up to 2 or 3 hours to 'get ready' to be able to connect.
I have contacted freeserve and they say it could be due to the extension I have to use from the main phone socket.
Does anyone who uses fs broadband suffer this problem? Is it a common thing or just me?
Any help appreciated

Re: FS Broadband Question

Thanks for replying mick......... to be honest I think its just a tall tale im being spun that the lead is too blame for not instant connection as sometimes it does work straight away and other times it doesnt. I have been noticing though that it seems to be working badly when the weather is not to good eg. severe cold, rain, wind etc.... whether or not this is just co-incidence.......... who knows???
