I had a sort of a brainwave
I was on the bus coming home from Blackburn and musing to myself about PCs and laptops when I had a sort of vision of a thing I'd like to create but there are 2 snags.
1. I can't afford the paraphernalia
2. I wouldn't know exactly how to get it to work.
I wonder if I should communicate my idea to an entrepreneur? Or should I let you lot know and then people can tell me what a daft idea it is anyway and how it would never work?

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
Nah that's no good you have to show them a prototype and I haven't the foggiest how I would put it together. Anyway they frighten the life out of me!

Hey Willow, compared with some of the things you post this is fantastic, not only do I have .30p that I am willing to invest, (no strings), but I'm sure others would be willing to put in their twopenneth as well.
Actually love, you are stuck on the same points as the rest of us, if we could afford it and if we knew how it would work we could all be millionaires.
Unfortunatley it's those exact reasons why we all just carry on being who we are, but I for one am happy that you are thinking who's to say one day that brilliant plan may pop into your head.

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
Ah but you see this seemed like such a good idea when I was thinking of it. I can just imagine telling Busman and him going "What a load of rubbish!"
It still sounds good to me though if only I could work out how to do it.

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
go on, share it!
I had this idea once, one night I got fed up listening to the rain drip down the drainpipe and hitting the bend at the bottom. So I worked out if the drainpipe had a 'screw thread' down its length then teh water would never have an 'impact' point to make a noise.
There you go, my million making idea!

Would it not be more prone to getting bunged up?

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
I've just tried to explain this idea of mine to Busman and I find I can't do it without flapping my hands about!
I'm going to have difficulty explaining it here!

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
Willow...I don't think I would explain it on a public forum...someone might pinch it and claim it as theirs....make a million...and you'd be sick as!

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
I'm never going to be able to make it though. I'll never make any money out of it.

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
I totally agree with Margaret. I wouldn't post your idea on a public forum. You'll have to get advice from somebody with the right expertise in this field, but make sure that you can trust them.

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
You don't have to say what the idea is - just whether it's technical, electronic, etc. Then the right person might come out of the woodwork and offer their help.

Re: I had a sort of a brainwave
It's technical in the computing hardware sense. Hence why I posted in this forum.

I've already had Busman's opinion.
