yep just re arrange them to the position shown on the hard drive to the slave position, if you need more jumpers just borrow one from a cd drive or somthing but not from the systemj you are going to be using

You could try one of these, IDE-USB adapter, there will be no need for messing with jumpers, or pulling another computer to bits. They plug into the hard drive, then to a USB port on your computer, they also have an external power adapter.

You can get them even cheaper on ebay.

I would recommend everybody gets one of these. It makes backing up and transferring your stuff to a new computer dead easy.

ill make it easy for you chuck come over to my house i will sort this all out for you in an hour or so i will do it all for you and explain all the way through you can even have a free brew on my im in woodnook accy if you wanna pop round with it just pm me and ill igve you my address im usually in after 5

My pc is now fixed!

An absolutely massive thanks to Ian - Entwisi for coming out and sorting it out for me.

My pictures are now safe and sound and to say I'm chuffed to bits is an understatement.

Thanks again to Ian and thanks to everyone else who took the time to try and help me
