My msn isnt letting me login it says ive got an error code of 80048820 , my internets working fine aswell!

Had a look at the messenger blog and it says this is an option to try:

If you are seeing the buddies spinning continuously in Windows Live Messenger, try the following:
Note: The steps below require you to make some changes to your registry, please review this article before you make changes.

1. Click on START and RUN and type in REGEDIT and hit Enter.
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, followed by Software , followed by Microsoft , followed by MSNMessenger and then Policies.
3. Select the Policies key and delete the entry.
4. Restart the machine and sign into Messenger again.
