missing words

I have n hp5650 printer and usually it is fine the only thing is sometimes when i print things off the internet or the web it misses words from the end of each line making the text illegible. Can anyone help?????????????

Before you print have you opted for "printable version" ?

dont know really willow i was trying to print sarah's Works Christmas Party in the nightlife thread is their a printable version in that?

Ah, right well in that case here's what to do:

When you've got the page on screen that you want to print, go to "File" and from the drop down menu select "Print Preview". You should then see an image of the page as it will be printed and you will notice the words which are going to drop off the end. You'll also notice in the tool bar at the top there's a "scale" box with a drop down arrow at the right.

Click on that arrow and fiddle about with the scaling - as you change the numbers you should see the page preview changes and you will se there comes a point when all the words you want are included in the page.

Then print away.

Hope that makes sense.

Then again if you're using IE it will be different and I think you'll need to go the "Page Set Up" from the "File" menu and reduce the left and right borders until the text fits the page.

This is another one of the times when I find Firefox more user friendly than IE.

I hope it helps. It probably sounds worse than it really is because I'm useless at explaining things. lol
