noise......?

can someone please tell me why my computer keeps making a din, if im running something, like a scan for example you can hear it in the box and the fan comes on, but at the moment iv got nowt running and the thing sounds like its up to something, how can i check to see if something is running still, cuz i havent put nowt on

mine used to do that until I stuck the hose from the Hoover into the vents (front and rear) and sucked some of the muck out , been okay since then (touch wood)

be careful about usinga vac inside a PC. It generates a lot of static which can kill CPU/GPU and memory.

You can buy compressed air in cans so you can blow the dust out, think I bought mine at PC World

yep or just gentle blowing yourself. Use a soft paint brush to dislodge stubborn stuff
