Angry Shockwave blocked by Norton

I ain't having a good day techy wise just tried to install adobe shockwave flash player on kids pc & blumming norton blocked the net access to download it ggrrrrrr I dont know why the stupid thing has done it but it has - never had that prob on other pc's tho other pc's hasn't had norton on it before either

Is there another way to download it as norton wont change its recommended block or another flash player to use instead ???

Norton. Say no more.

I presume its a firewall your on about.

Zone Alarm is better and free. as a quick fix if it is the firewall, disable that one and just use windows own. then if you want to, switch back.

If it Anti Virus Norton I cant see why it would block you?

agreed, remove the pile of doo dah and get decent one.

Or temporarily set teh windows one on and turn Norton off(in that order) Sort it then turn it back on(if you must)

hehehehehehehe guess what norton reminds me of ...................AOHELL! once on wont remove

Even disabled it & put zonealarm on ...............................now i've 2 firewalls operating when only one was permissioned to do so GGGGGGRRRRRRR

I guess removing Norton is about as straightforward as some people learning the art of patience

It will probably need a bit more force than my earlier suggestion.

I always turn Norton off, especially when he's presenting Strictly Dance Fever.
