Techinical question

The memory in my computer is 1/2 gig DDR DMM PC 2100 266mhz.

I want to upgrade to 1 gig in one slot, I think the other slot has a fault.

Can I use a 1gig PC2700 or 3200 strip, or am I stuck with what I've got.

Retlaw.

Re: Techinical question

Hi Mr D.
Tried that site but it wouldn't work on my computer, told me to down load a local scan program. No way.

All I know of this computer is its an AMD Athelon 2600, does that refer to the mother board.

you have PM but yes, you can always use faster RAM, its when you try to use slower that it causes issues.
