trouble

iam having trouble with my printer, all the lights are on but there is plenty of ink,and paper,but it will not print all the leads are o,k, and its installed,
can eny one help, or is it a new printer.thanks.

I usually drop mine on the ground tosh, if it doesn't work after that its a new one

If you are using Vista there might be some "compatibility issues" ... if this is the case the printer manufacturer probably has a compatible driver you can download from their website.

check teh spool Q, it might just be that teh computer is storing them to print when you tell it to. I can't quite recall where it is on XP/vista as its probably > 7 yeras since I last did it. use help to guide you or google

do the lights come on when the printer is on indpendent of the PC.

Make and model might be helpful. If it's an Epson it usually means it's goosed.

Check that your printer is set to default. Some programs you install, will install a print driver (MS Office) and make this the default.

When I first started using Vista my HP all-in-one didn't wok properly, i.e.the scan facility didn't work, went on the HP wed ste down loaded diver updates for vista heypresto everything was A O K
