When you say the PC isnt recognisisng the USB mouse/keyboard, do you mean when the system boots up or when in the operatng system?
What OS are you using?
Is USB enabled in the BIOS? - need to enable USB legacy support if it uses this term and check USB keyboard/mouse support enabled. BUT if your keyboard PS/2 port is kaput and its not recognising a USB one , then you wont be able to get in the BIOS to change it (catch 22)
If its the OS need to check in device manager - but if your keyboard/mouse arent working you wont be able to do that will you! - are both ps/2 ports kaput?
Just re read your message - what do you mean when u say to bleeps a lot? Does it beep when you switch it on? How many times?
